Anyone that knows me knows this was the dream match up. My favorite Gypsy
mare paired up with my favorite Gypsy stallion. I really didn't care about the
color, as long as it was a filly. This was the first time Jen and I tried using
frozen semen and within 2 cycles, Dinah was in foal! Had a premonition early in
Dinah's pregnancy that she would have a filly and it would be named Isabella.
That premonition was dampened by the thought she seemed to be carrying a colt
on ultrasound. So I was shocked on May 9th when little Bella entered the world
and it was in fact a SHE! I could not have asked for a more beautiful hue of bay
and she is just perfect in every way to me! Even at 1 hour old she is FULL of
good bone and great feather! I am SO excited to watch this little filly grow up
and make both of her parents proud! So for now, welcome to the world Isabella!
