~The Birth~
Many thanks to Jennifer Gilson for taking these great shots of Flint being born! Over the years with the Gypsies we
have had the best success foaling them on shavings, which I know is not always ideal.  The problem we run into is
the Gypsies like to eat, everything, including straw which being in the desert where it is constantly hot and dry and
they don't always remain as hydrated as they shoud, consuming straw highly increases their risk for an impaction
in their intestines, so we foal them on shavings and as of yet have had no issues foaling on shavings.  Just an fyi of
why we use shavings over straw.
New pictures of Flint taken on March 17th 2010,
his first 10 minute turnout with his mom!  Dinah is
VERY proud of him and was having much fun
showing him around and getting to run with him!
Flint has been SOLD and is now living at Silver
Feather Gypsies in Texas.  Please look for him
there :)!

Flint is the total package....and he knows it!!
