Gracie
Ideal
I truly never originally dreamed of owning Faye, I had
planned on purchasing Gracie at BFS Sale, but it didn't pan
out so I figured it wasn't meant to be for me to have Gracie
or a Gracie offspring in my herd. Then one fateful day in
mid-August 2009, I saw an ad for a tall Grey Shire mare on
Draftsforsale. So I investigate it further, come to find out
the ad was for Faye, a 2003 Grey daughter of Gracie and
Ideal. This was the ultimate horse to complete the collection
of Shires, as I lost my Ideal offspring when I sold
D'Artagnan to a wonderful lady here in AZ. Also as fate
would have it, she was boarded less than 10 minutes from
the stable Dinah was at in California and I was heading out
there Sept 1st to pick Dinah up. So it was meant to be!
Both Dinah and Faye came back together September 1st!
Faye is now happily integrated into the herd and is Maddie's
shadow....literally! Every move Maddie makes, Faye is just
a step or two behind. The two grey girls hanging together!
We are giving Faye a bit of time off as the AZ summer heat
dwindles, and as soon as temps break some will saddle her
up and continue her riding training! Thank you SO much

NEWS!! On December 11th, Faye went to her first horse
show at the 1st Annual Draft Horse Show here in Phx, AZ.
Although the judge was looking for the high steppers with
Scotch Bottoms, Faye did perfect throughout the show and
never took a wrong step! Here are some new pictures of
her at the show!
