2005 Buckskin Gypsy Colt
Well after months of waiting, Bucky has FINALLY
come to Shiredale and we are SO excited about his
arrival! Buckingham (Bucky) is a phenomenal and
rare Buckskin Gypsy Horse by the palomino mare
Birdie and a chesnut stallion still in England. I have
loved him ever since he came to the US soon after
being weaned in March 2006. He was born in
October 2005 so is a late baby and should get close
to 15 hands at maturity. He is going to GREATLY
help my dream of trying to breed and raise
Buckskin Drum horses. When Bucky is crossed
with a Bay Shire or Clydesdale the offspring has a
40% chance of being bay and a 40% chance of
ending up buckskin!
NEWS- October 8th- Bucky arrived at 1:30am to
the cool brisk am of Arizona. Am SO excited he is
on Arizona soil at long last! Here are just a couple
of preliminary photos after he stepped off the
trailer. More to come later!
